Sage Grouse

 

This year we drew sage grouse permits, another excuse to get out with the boys. At first light we headed out but didn’t have any luck. We did see a coyote, but didn’t have the rifle handy at the time and that would be the only one we saw.

Finally just before sunset we jumped a covey of 20+ sage grouse and just like that the hunt was over, good times!
