Canada/Snow Goose mix - with a limit of ducks each

The morning after Thanksgiving we shot 'em up. The majority of the river we hunted was private property, but we had permission to hunt and made the most of it and bagged an awesome mixed bag of ducks!

Morning duck shoot...nice way to start the day (mallard, widgeon, golden eye, gadwall, ringneck)

Not long after shooting ducks, we moved to the fields to decoy Canada geese. The wind was violent which kept us busy as we continually popped up out of our blinds to go retrieve blowing decoys. However, that same wind ended up working to our favor, especially when it came to one particular flock of geese. We were hunkered down peering out of our ground blinds when we saw a flock of approximately 15 geese out on the horizon. A few honks of the goose call and the geese were committed. As the flock fought the wind, we had plenty of time to notice a few snow geese and blue geese mixed right in with the Canada geese.

It is very unusual to see snow geese in these parts of Wyoming and even rarer to get one within shooting range, but luckily for us we knocked a couple out of the air!
