Birds of a Feather

Always a good time once the fall bird season hits. Whether it is out there basking in the mild afternoons of autumn or enduring the bone chilling days of winter, we always enjoy spending time together outdoors! So like they say, "birds of a feather..." provided us the opportunity to focus on several different species of birds this fall and we came away with meat that ranged from small morsels to large steaks!

      Found a good number of doves this past season                               And a nice mix of pigeons too

                   Warm glow of the sunset over an icy cold lake                               Scored on a couple of fall turkeys

                   Carson’s 1st wigeon came bombing in                                 And a triple-curl tail on his mallard

        Had the swans right where we wanted them                                               Tagged out!
